EASY DOWN

The lift is broken in my house. Well, actually someone threw up in the lift and it stinks really badly so my sister and I resorted to take the steps instead. Now, neither of us is part of the fitfam. So in our climbing up and down the stairs, I realised something everyone already knows (I can be slow sometimes).
We experienced a lot of pain going up the stairs and we went down the stairs with a lot of ease. It sort of reminded me of life. Whenever we are trying to make ourselves better people, it's a lot harder which makes us a lot more likely to give up. However, ruining our lives is fairly easy. Going up the stairs is very difficult but going up the stairs means I'm going up to a warm bed and fast internet. So even though, it is more painful for me, it is worth it. Going down the stairs is easier for me to do but I'm just going down into the cold and it's definitely not worth it. I guess what I'm trying to say is "you should go up the stairs"

This outfit was so random and last minute. I wore the turtle neck and the trousers and I felt very self conscious so I threw on a black blazer and changed it to the red blazer last minute and I think it worked. Later in the day, for a more casual look, I swapped the blazer for my sister's denim jacket. The pictures are a little weird but that's what you get from getting your baby sister to take your pictures after she clearly stated that she doesn't want to.

  7. I definitely agree with you, it might be difficult but going up the stairs is always worth it, I love your analogies. This look is very chic, I love how you styled both. I would rock it with the red blazer for a more corporate affair then the denim jacket and perhaps sneakers for a more casual look. I feel you on the weird pictures, not that I noticed it but whenever my siblings don't feel like taking my pictures it always come out looking off which is why I try to motivate them by cheering them on or bribing them.

  10. Everything worth achieving always comes with breaking some or a lot of sweat. I feel we should focus more on the lessons in the process as well as the goal to be reached. Most times, the lessons from the pain in climbing the stairs are the solid foundations needed to soar when we reach the peak.

    You look lovely as usual.

    Stay blessed!

  11. Lol I equally detest the stairs, but I climbed it everyday at my old workplace to prove to myself that sometimes the best way is the harder route
