I MADE MANY MISTAKES.....

....but held on to my FAITH...

It's the last day of 2011...excited anybody? This year was such a beautiful year. I learnt alot about myself, my God, and life in general. I learnt to forgive...to hope...to love. I learned about the beauty of second chances and the awesomeness of not taking life too seriously. I am very thankful to God, my family, my friends and everyone who reads this. Here's a quick OUTFIT OF THE DAY. It has been such a beautiful day so far and I hope you are all having a wonderful day. This is the last 17:36 hours in 2011 and I'm so scared, yet hopeful of 2012.

For those of you who got your heart broken this year, remember that sometimes love comes around and knocks you down but just get back up. Love will find you in the end.

For those who lost a loved one this year, remember that God gives and He takes but His plans for us remain that of good and not evil.

For those of you who fell in love this year, remember that there is no point being with each other if you don't make each other better people.

For those that think nothing exciting happened to them this year, there's always 2012! You're ALIVE and that is SOMETHING!! <3

I know it's 26th and I am a day late but I just wanted to wish you guys a MERRY CHRISTMAS!! better late than never, right? :-)


Christmas is a time of giving and of showing love. For me, it's a celebration of the birth of my Lord and personal Saviour Jesus Christ. I don't care if Jesus was born on the 25th of December or not, all I care about is the fact that JESUS WAS BORN!


I hope you all had an amazing day! I went to church and got back home to be swamped in courseworks. I had no food at home 'cause I forgot to go get groceries on the 24th and nothing was open, so I was starved...LOL. But, I am still very thankful and now it's FIVE MORE DAYS to 2012! Woot! Woot! Excited anyone?


Okay, I gotta get back to my courseworks. I'll leave you with my church/Christmas day outfit. Forgive the pictures, the batteries of my camera were dead and like I said, nothing was open so I resorted to using my phone!

I hardly ever wear eyeshadow but I just did not want to look plain so I dabbed some green eyeshadow to my water line. I don't think it made much of a difference really...

BO-HO CHIC!

Today, I just felt like being really laid back with my outfit...so I wore some rolled up distressed jeans, black tee, leopard print loafers and a braid...Mum took us to this "african/Nigerian restaurant"....OMG!! I don't think I've ever felt so out of place in my life...It's settled, mum and I have different meanings of the word 'posh'...LOL!

Something happened today and I just thought to remind every girl out there to love herself and her body. I know it's not always easy to do so and if you're not comfortable with something, fix it the healthy way...but honestly, we need to love ourselves 'cause it's so easy for us to feel 'not good enough'....

It's an awful awful thing. You are beautiful, don't let anyone tell you differently <3

I also wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who reads my blog. I checked my stats today and I've got over 6000 views and I'm pretty excited. I know that's quite a lil amount for some people but I was taught to give thanks for any and everything so I am very thankful.

THE MOST AMAZING THING ABOUT LIFE....

...is time spent with family and ofcourse, SHOPPING!!!!
In case, I forgot to tell you guys, I am in dubai for a couple of days!!!! YAYYY!!! Super Excited. I almost didn't make it due to some problems with my ticket but everything was resolved JUST IN TIME! It was quite a long trip. Oh, lemme tell you guys a SILLY/FUNNY STORY:

I took a taxi to the train station, got out and before I had time to open the boot (not sure if that's the spelling) and take my suitcase, the taxi driver started driving away and I had to CHASE A MOVING CAR UNDER THE RAIN!! LOL!

SHAVE MY HAIR OR GO BLONDE???

I am meant to be doing school work but gosh, I am so freaking tired! I just felt like sharing with you guys my latest desire!!! YES! You guessed it. I want a haircut. not the "i want to go natural type of haircut"...that's not my thing AT ALL! LOL! but i think i want a new look and NO, braids will not do it....I want to shave a large proportion of my hair! :D It's something I've wanted to do for a while but everyone I know won't let me but it's constantly on my mind. I never thought I'd say this but I'm tired of my long locks! I desperately want a new look. 

 Here are a few looks I think I can totally pull off...

 

It's either I shave one side of my hair or go blonde. I never do black hair. I have a pale complexion and black hair washes me out so I'm always stuck with brown hair and that's getting kind of boring so I want to go blonde! and NO, not this type of blonde....
