NO EGO! NO PRIDE!!

Last night, one of my best friends called me. She had broken up with her boyfriend on numerous occasions(because she was not sure if she was ready for a relationship); and on this particular occasion, she was sure she wanted him; but he had gotten tired of her neither here nor there attitude and told her he wasn't taking her back. He informed her that she had been very selfish and the world was not her oyster. I couldn't do much to comfort her because he was right; she had been selfish; but one of the determining factor for not taking her back was his pride and ego which had been bruised on several occasions.

Her situation made me think about God and my sometimes neither here nor there attitude, dabbling into sin, running back to God. And every single time, I went back to God, He never once turned His back on me. He never said "you've done this way too many times and I cannot do this with you anymore". I realised that God has no pride or ego; which is why no matter how many times you walk away from Him. He's always ready to take you back; regardless of if this last sin was worse than the other sins. No matter how many times you break up with God, He's always ready to take you back. That's why a Saul can become a Paul. That's why a Christian killer can become a Christian converter. The truth is God does not get tired of loving you. He's not out to get you. He's not waiting for you to mess up and counting your chances. He's rooting for you to come back to Him...to come back Home. Put simply, there is nothing you can do to make God stop loving you.
Monochrome is one of those trends that will never go out of style. I picked this old pair of trousers from my wardrobe and I paired it with a peplum top because it has a nice balance of of cinching your waste without making you look overly sexy. I didn't want to offset the monochrome look so I ensured my heels stuck to that palette.

I hope your friend will forgive herself and move on.... making a decision to consider other people's feelings first... I've had this experience too.

  7. Gorgeous outfit.

The greatest challenge I have as a Christian is trying to understand if God will take me back time n time again after every sin. It's hard to understand why He would put up with me this much.
A reminder like this is amazing.
    Thanks for sharing
