ROCK BOTTOM


I'm not an athletic person. It's boring. I'd rather be eating instead. Don't judge. This isn't a fitness blog. Lol. I noticed though; on one the few occasions when I tried to indulge friends by playing basket ball that, the harder I hit the ball on the ground, the higher it came back up. Every time the ball hit rock bottom, it bounced higher up.
Rock bottom means being at the lowest possible level. It's pretty much a point in your life where everything says give up. Last night, my friend and I were exchanging stories of times when we've reached rock bottom and got back even higher and stronger than where we were before.

There's something about hitting rock bottom. You know, you're already at the bottom and there's no where else to go at the bottom, but the top. I don't know....but I think if a stupid ball can get to the top after hitting rock bottom, you too can. So don't give up.










 I don't know if I have shared this but I am getting called to the Bar in about 2 weeks. To God be the glory, I passed my bar exams. Anyways, my mom said to me "Tomilola, you have to start dressing matured now. You're now a lawyer". I think she meant I could start wearing sexy pencil skirts now and dark colours. Lol. I'm in a pastel frenzy at the moment and I fell in love with this skirt immediately I saw it. It's leather. Okay, faux leather. I felt like keeping the outfit simple so I paired it with a black turtle neck and leopard print heels for a little grrrr (Don't ask me what that means, it just flows)
