WRAP YOUR HEAD AROUND THIS

(Photos by Lotachukwu)
When I saw this beautiful wrap skirt while randomly checking for something on ebay, I knew I had to buy it so I stalked it like a hawk and placed a bid on it and WON! Yayy! I wore a wrap top/dress and then due to having a bad hair day, wrapped a scarf on my head as well. I forgot I had this pair of heels and just randomly found it so I decided to wear it.

I realised there are questions girls should never ask. My friend and I went for a fashion show for charity and while the models were strutting their stuff, she asked me "am I fatter than her?" and I replied honestly and then I found myself asking if I was fatter than some other girl. I got home and thought to myself, that is a wrong way to go about life comparing yourself to someone else. I'm an advocate of being the best you, you can be and not focused on being better than someone else. So, I got carried away and this is just to serve as a reminder to myself and all other women that beauty doesn't come in one size, height, hair, race or even skin-colour. True beauty  can never be limited to one thing. To everyone reading this, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL because you are wonderfully and fearfully made by God and He makes no mistakes

"Anything you're addicted to enslaves you. Keeps you bound... except it's God's love because that sets you free."

Have a wonderful week!
Lots of love

  15. I don't really see comparison as a bad thing if it is done with a positive mind. Growth and change come from comparison. If engineers did not compare each others works they'd not find technical faults inherent in one and a whole lot of lives might be lost on a faulty machine. If teachers didn't compare teaching methods and adopt them then the students would not have the chance to develop. So also if a woman does not compare ♓èл weight with that of another §Ä¦Ð· might not have the motivation to shed some pounds for the sake of ♓èл health at least. If I did not compare my photo quality with that of other bloggers I wouldn't have this zeal in me now to try to get a better camera. The thing is to keep it positive. Comparison should be done with a view to grow and develop and be the best that you ςªŋ be. I mean how else ςªŋ you possibly know the best you ςªŋ be if you haven't been inspired by someone or something or an experience?

Love your wrap skirt, btw. It's lovely. And great shoes too. :)

I certainly get where you're coming from. Healthy competitions/comparisms in a professional atmosphere is necessary but comparing our individual bodies is not. You know when to shed/gain some pounds when you calculate your BMI and not by looking at another woman. Every woman is different. Your BMI tells you whether you're over, under or just at a right weight, not other women's bodies. I firmly belive in trying to be a better "you", not better than someone else...You can be inspired by someone without comparing yourself to the person...

      Xx
