THE BEAUTY OF LOVE & ACCEPTANCE

My life is taking unexpected turns in little ways. A lot of ups and downs. I'm learning about patience. I'm learning about forgiveness. I'm learning about the importance of LOVE. The  need to stop taking life for granted. Most especially, to stop taking God's love and mercy for granted. I'm learning to accept that I cannot be in control every time. Even though I would love to. I'm learning to speak up. Open my mouth. Hear myself. I'm learning that I will NEVER be perfect enough for God. But I'm BEAUTIFUL enough for Him to send His Son to die for me. I'm learning to make a conscious effort to stop using swear words. I'm learning to NOT be so judgmental. I'm learning to FORGIVE MYSELF for my mistakes and bad choices. I'm learning to be THANKFUL for life, for my blog, for my FOLLOWERS. Sigh! I really really love you guys. Sometimes, your comments are all I need to turn my day from bad to good! So here's to learning!
Lots of love! xo

THEN SINGS MY SOUL

Hi guys,

I always wanted an afro and I decided to GET ONE! :D  I ain even gonna lie. I hated the hair when I got it done and I'm not particularly in love with it now. But, somehow I feel myself getting there What do you think?

I got these 6.5inches babies for my younger sister but she kept complaining it was too high. So eventhough it was a size bigger, I decided I'd show her how it's done. Oh boy, this was the most uncomfortable shoes I've worn in years. I was so scared I was gonna fall. My favourite part about the shoe was the extra height it gave me. I'm 5.5 on a regular so I was almost 6fts tall in these babies and that felt awesome!

"And peter said, we ought to forgive people 7times when they hurt us, right? But Jesus said, nah dude, it's 7o X 7 times in a day. Don't expect forgiveness from God, when you cannot give forgiveness to your neighbours"

Lots of love! Xo
